I Am Proud to Have Done My Best
An older voice finds purpose and gratitude in love, endurance and the shelter left for family.
For looking back at time already lived — whatever that looking back turns up, grief or gratitude or neither.

“Some things are clearer once they're behind you.”
The Reflection is where we look backward — at a life, a chapter, a version of yourself that's already been lived — without needing that looking-back to land on one tidy feeling. Sometimes it turns up gratitude. Sometimes it turns up grief, or a question that never quite resolves. The Reflection doesn't rush any of that toward a lesson. It simply makes space to look, honestly, at time that's already gone.

An older voice finds purpose and gratitude in love, endurance and the shelter left for family.

A life-course reflection moving from childhood wonder through love, family, work, ageing and grateful acceptance of a good life.
